Tonight once again I found myself experimenting with desserts and seem to have hit the jackpot with this one according to all my “guinea pigs”. (THANK YOU TO ALL MY TASTE TESTERS!!!)
1 Chocolate Cake Mix (shoot for the extra moist ones)
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 jar of Caramel Ice Cream Topping
2-3 Strawberries diced
Make the chocolate cake according to the box. Once you remove from oven take the end of a wooden spoon and make holes throughout the cake. Let the cake then cool for 10 minutes. Take the can of sweetened condensed milk and pour over the whole cake. Next pour aprox. 1/2 the jar of caramel over the cake. Sprinkle the nuts and the strawberries on top. Set in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. When you go to serve a piece put a dollop of cool whip on top as well extra nuts and caramel sauce.
