Hooter’s fried pickles

HOOTER’S FRIED PICKLES

6 TO 10 CUPS OIL FOR FRYING

ONE 16 OZ JAR HAMBURGER DILL CHIPS

1 EGG BEATEN

1/4 C MILK

1/2 C FLOUR

1/2 TSP SALT

1/2 TSP GARLIC POWDER

1/4 TSP PAPRIKA

PINCH CAYENNE PEPPER

DIPPING SAUCE

1/2 C HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH SALAD DRESSING

1/8 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER

Remove the pickle slices from the jar and lay them out flat on paper towels.  Use more to blot pickles til dry.

heat oil to 350 degrees

Combine the egg and milk in small bowl

combine the flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder and cayenne pepper in a shallow bowl

bread each of the pickles slices by first coating with the dry blend then the egg milk mixture then back to dry stuff.

Drop 10 to 15 slices into hot oil at one time and fry for 2 minutes serve with dipping sauce on the side
