Boy Scout Troop 256

Hello:

Troop 256 is growing here in Bremen so we have decided to start a fund raising drive to support our activities. We currently do a couple of camp outs a year and we also attend the Scout camp-o-ree every fall. This year we also have the 100th Anniversary Jamboree this year, and we would like to expand our summer activities.

We have fund raising efforts in place to support our normal day to day activities, and we are working on other ways to fund the cost of Summer camp for the boys, to take some of the burden off their parents. But we are also looking to replace much of our worn and outdated equipment and add some new things. The troop would like to acquire some new tents, and some Backpacks and a dining tent that has provisions for a wood burning stove for use in cold weather.

Our goal is $3,000.00 for equipment. We are hoping to get the local businesses in Bremen to Donate towards this goal. Please consider helping the youth of our community. For more Information contact the Scoutmaster At (574)209-0509 (Dan Ringer)
